Job Description:
MediaStove founders are searching for an entrepreneur who wants to be a co-founder and serve in a marketing manager role. The individual must have a background in the SaaS software industry and be capable of making an initial cash investment. When MediaStove’s funding or cash flow position improves, this person will be required to join the MediaStove team as a full-time salaried employee, working in the company’s headquarters located in the Austin, Texas metro area.
The Marketing Manager will have ownership of the four Marketing P’s (Product, Pricing, Promotion, Placement). They will “drive” the definition of these elements, create an implementation strategy, and execute these elements. The Marketing Manager must be resourceful, creative, and have the ability to deliver results with minimal resources. The Marketing Manager is responsible for providing strategic direction, digital insights, business development and brand marketing ideation. They provide leadership in marketing initiative and being about to execute partnership marketing programs. Individual must enjoy Marketing activities and must have knowledge, interest, and background in the capitalization of startups.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Market MediaStove initiatives and strategic partnership.
- Ability to write compelling and comprehensive proposals
- Pursue and develop relationships with web design companies and other agencies.
- Increase interaction by extending the breadth of the platforms in which designers can access and engage their clients through
MediaStove programming.
- Manage the advertising of MediaStove as a brand.
- Work closely with advertising agency and media buyer
- Communicate with COO to direct campaigns and strategy.
- Pursue media barters where appropriate.
- Ensure deadlines are met.
- Generating project exposure through extensive third party marketing with web designer and advertising professional communities.
- Seeking new opportunities for new media marketing.
- Working with the Sr. Managers on all marketing efforts and project initiatives.
- Create and carry out marketing plans for MediaStove special projects and custom programs.
- Manage production and marketing of larger shows and events.
- The ideal candidate will also have experience working with web developers and digital properties for developing and executing partnership marketing programs.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Represent the company externally to media, government agencies, funding agencies, and the general public.
- Recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate department staff.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS
- Experience in strategic planning in the SaaS or CMS/WMS industry. Knowledge of contracting, negotiating, and change management. Knowledge of the CMS market, internet technology, online and 3rd party marketing. Generally Accepted Marketing Principles. Knowledge of automated financial and accounting reporting systems. Ability to analyze financial data and prepare marketing reports, statements, and projections.
- Work requires professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to motivate teams to produce quality materials within tight timeframes and simultaneously manage several projects. Ability to participate in and facilitate group meetings.
- This is normally acquired through a combination of the completion of a Masters Degree in Marketing, five years of experience in a senior position.
- Work requires willingness to work a flexible schedule. Also able to multi-task, manage and prioritize.
The Compensation package includes:
- No cash will be paid for work until company receives first round of funding.
- Person will be awarded equity, contingent upon performance metrics and long-term commitment.
- Person will enter into a legal agreement with MediaStove committing to a minimum of 15 hours per week for sweat equity.
